The Department of Overseas Labor has requested companies that have provided seafarers to the ship to urgently supply necessary support to the wounded crew members and the families of the dead in the accident. Serious damage was recorded when a painting shop in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City burst into flames on Friday morning. The fire broke out at the painting shop on Hai Ba Trung Street at around 6:30 am on Friday. A failed attempt to control the blaze by local people led to flames spreading to a house block next door.
