(VEN) - The Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) opened a branch in the Laos capital of Vientiane this February as part of its strategy to develop its network abroad in areas that have potential for economic, trade and investment cooperation with Vietnam. VietNamNet Bridge - Results of the survey on the quality of mobile networks in Vietnam released by Buu dien (Post) newspaper has raised the opposition of many mobile service providers who believe that the survey was not conducted using a reliable scientific method. They believe that the result should not be announced at the end of the year, a sensitive time for service providers. The survey, conducted on 3200 mobile phone subscribers in Hanoi and HCM City, has found out that MobiFone has the best service quality. The mobile service provider was rated 3.92/5 by pre-paid subscribers and 3.95/5 by post-paid subscribers. More and more network attacks have been reported recently, where hackers not only target the websites of organizations and businesses, but information security companies as well. Meanwhile, according to Ngo Viet Khoi from Trend Micro Vietnam, the awareness of Vietnamese businesses about the information security has been improved, but the investment is still much lower than needed. Thinking simple Khoi said that in mind of business managers, preventing malware means installing anti-virus software products in computers. Meanwhile, the way of thinking has become out of date, as hackers now carry out attacks under different modes, while the number of malware has increased rapidly. A survey by Trend Micro shows that in the last six months of 2011, the number of malicious codes on Android operation system alone increased by 1400 percent.
