The popular smartphone became available again in Germany earlier today, and it will now ship from the U.S. Google Play store to buyers in one to two weeks. Google also added Canada to the lineup. Germany isn't the only country getting more Nexus 4 inventory today. The popular Google smartphone is now available in the U.S. and Canadian Google Play stores, as well. The device, which costs $299 for the 8GB version or $349 for the 16GB model, will ship in one to two weeks for U.S. buyers, the site says. That's a big improvement from the recent wait times, as well as the general unavailability of the device. The Vietnam Education Foundation (VEF) has sponsored 37 new fellows who will begin graduate studies and three new visiting scholars who will undertake professional development programs at 25 top universities in the U.S. during the upcoming academic year 2010-2011. The fellows will be pursuing graduate degrees at high ranking U.S. universities including Arizona State University, Indiana University, University of California at Berkeley and University of Washington among others in the fields of agriculture and natural resources, biochemistry and molecular biology, computer science and microbiology, aerospace, civil, electrical and nuclear engineering and more. The three visiting scholars will pursue self-designed post-doctoral training programs for up to 12 months focusing on bio-resource production, electric power systems, botany and allelopathy. Seven artists from Vietnam National Opera Ballet (VNOB) and Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra (VNSO) will have a performance tour in the U.S. under the invitation of Brigham Young University from November 2 to 11, reports the Vietnam News Agency. The information was announced by conductor Pham Hong Hai, deputy director of VNOB and head of the Vietnamese delegation in this tour. Four main percussionists are members of the Go Group Hanoi named Nghiem Manh Tuan (VNSO), Tran Xuan Hoa (VNOB), Bui Anh Dung (VNSO) and Phan Nam (VNSO) and two guests artists are singer Huyen Nga and trumpet player Minh Quy. Singer Huyen Nga will perform two Vietnamese folk songs. “All the artists will have four performances in three cities of the states of Utah and Idaho.
