Experts forecast real estate market for next year
According to economic expert Can Van Luc, there are many factors that positively affect the real estate market including the relatively good economic recovery, the acceleration of the program of socio-economic recovery and development 2022-2023, and public investment. In addition, legal issues have been and are being resolved while interest rates and basic exchange rates were stable despite strong upward pressure. In particular, the credit market is having bright spots. Hanoians happy to spend big bucks on pet day care
When Vu Ngoc Minh Ha and her husband leave home in Tay Ho District at 7 a.m. for work, they take their samoyed dog named Xe Dap (Bicycle) with them and drop him off at a doggy day care on nearby Dang Thai Mai Street. They pick him up on their way home in the evening. For the past three years Ha, 27, has been entrusting Xe Dap to the center from Monday to Friday every week. "We don't want to leave our dog at home alone because we are afraid he will be lonely without anyone to play with or destroy furniture," she says. While the monthly fee is high enough at VND4 million, the couple pay extra for him to be fed extra meals and given spa treatments and other services. They typically spend VND10-12 million (US$427-512.89) on the animal each month. Mekong Delta floods to be below normal this year: authorities
Rice fields in Cao Lanh district of the Mekong Delta province of Dong Thap province. (Photo: VNA) HCM City (VNS/VNA) - The Mekong Delta is expected to have less flooding than normal this year, according to the Directorate of Water Resources. The delta, the country largest producer of rice, fruits and seafood, is normally flooded in the Mekong’s upstream areas, and this fertilises the soil as sediments are deposited and brings river creatures into farms. The floods are expected to peak at 3.5-3.7m at the Tan Chau Station in An Giang province in October, the directorate said. They are estimated to reach 3 metres by the end of this month, but will not affect the cultivation the autumn-winter crop. However, the high tides are expected to be high this year and flood low-lying areas in the delta’s central and coastal areas, especially when the tides occur at the same time as heavy rains. The flooding is now low and does not affect agriculture production or daily life. … [Read more...] about Mekong Delta floods to be below normal this year: authorities

Illustrative image. (Photo: SGGP) In mid-August, preparation activities for the new school year contributed to an increase in the consumer price index (CPI) in the third quarter, helping to keep a strong and stable growth in the service and retail sales sectors of Ho Chi Minh City. The policy of not increasing hospital fees and tuitions until the end of 2022, even becoming a pioneer in supporting and implementing the proposal of the Ministry of Education and Training in exempting and reducing tuitions, is an important orientation. On the one hand, the city strives to achieve the key goal of stabilizing the CPI. On the other hand, it strengthens the price stabilization of goods for the new school year and essential items of the food and foodstuff group as a practical move to share the burden with people and parents.
