According to doctors at National Cancer Hospital, Tien is the youngest patient they have diagnosed with breast cancer. Tien said it was difficult to accept the truth but with support from her family and friends, she began battling cancer. Due to chemotherapy, she is now bald-headed yet finished in the top 12 of her university's beauty contest. Her optimism and energetic lifestyle has impressed many people online.
