The annual Nguyên Tiêu Festival on the 15th of lunar January in Hội An has been recognised as a National Intangible Heritage by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Lanterns are used to decorate Hôi An every full moon. PANO - The flying trapeze act performed by Hoang Anh and Thu Hiep from Ho Chi Minh Circus Troupe won the Silver medal at the Figueres International Circus, held in Spain from February 21st- 25th. 27 performances from 14 countries were presented at the Figueres Festival, including brilliant circus performances from the US, Russia, China and Spain. The Vietnamese acrobats’ flying trapeze won the third spot, after Russian horse performance and Chinese somersault. Participants in the event that is part of the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) 2023 heard a report and gave comments on the results of the 57th meeting of the ASEAN National Tourism Organizations, considered the agenda of M-ATM+3 (ASEAN plus China, Japan, and the Republic of Korea); M-ATM-India and M-ATM-Russia; and attended consultations with international organizations.
