Lifelong love for suit tailoring
Tailoring is one of the oldest professions in Hanoi. What brought you to the profession? I am a second-generation descendant of a family with more than 70 years of working in this area. My father also opened a tailor shop specialising in serving foreigners in the 1950s, when the tailoring profession in Hanoi was still very primitive and the designs and fabrics were monotonous. Canadian Ambassador to Vietnam Shawn Steil visits Van Hung Tailor Hanoi in the 1980s did not have many tailors. Tailoring as a profession was an ideal choice for young people who do not go to college. I studied sewing technology at school, now the Hanoi Vocational School of Cookery, Tourism, and Fashion. "I plan to cooperate and open a youth football training academy in Vietnam. I will use my experience as a coach in both Vietnam and the Republic of Korea to contribute to Vietnamese football in the future," Park said at the farewell meeting with local fans in Hanoi this week. The Korean coach officially ended his five-year journey on January 31 as the head coach of the national, Olympic, and U23 teams . Vietnam expects to send 10,000 guest workers to RoK this year
The Korean Ministry of Employment and Labor said the country has plans to employ about 110,000 migrant workers this year to work at its farms and factories, but some businesses believed even more will be needed to keep them running. Apart from working to raise the number of guest workers under the Employment Permit System (EPS), Vietnam's competent agencies have also discussed with Korean relevant units to loosen conditions, making it easier for shipbuilding workers to enter the RoK. Vietnam's labor management board in the RoK has also coordinated with the Vietnam EPS Labor Management Office and support centers for guest workers to diversify communication and support activities. Last year, Vietnam sent nearly 9,000 workers to the RoK under the EPS program, out of 70,000 set for 16 selected countries.
