During the test, participating troops used the brigade’s allotted weapons to shoot down floating targets in both day and night time. Under the command of commanding officers, participating troops confidently shot down targets in the first round while ensuring absolute safety of personnel, weapons and equipment. The test was held to evaluate Brigade 955’s quality of training troops, the coordination among participating forces, and abilities of commanding officers at all levels. The dialogue was part of the ongoing official visit to the U.K. of Great Britain and North Ireland of Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam Vuong Dinh Hue. At the event, the two senior officials expressed their delight at the positive and dynamic development of the Vietnam-U.K. strategic partnership, especially the effective maintenance of the bilateral defense cooperation. They wished to turn defense ties into a pillar of the two countries’ overall relations.
