Vietnam tourism promoted in Japan

In his remarks, Ngo Sy Anh, General Manager of Vietnam Airlines branch in Japan, affirmed the importance of the Japanese market to the company. Before the pandemic, the airline ran 68 flights every week to connect four major cities of Japan to Vietnam’s Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang. In 2019, it carried 1.6 million passengers on these routes. With the Vietnamese Government deciding to resume regular international flights from January 1 last year, Vietnam Airlines is now operating 42 flights linking the countries. At the event, participating Vietnamese travel, accommodation companies and carriers introduced Vietnam’s potential and attractive sites to their Japanese peers. The sides exchanged views on cooperation orientations to capitalize on opportunities stemming from the nations’ post-pandemic recovery. Solid foundation for Vietnam-Italy relations

According to Professor Pietro Masina , University of Naples “L’Orientale” and Editor-in-Chief of the European Journal of East Asian Studies, the establishment of diplomatic relations between Italy and Vietnam provides a destination, not just a starting point, for the relationship. Since the two countries upgraded the relationship to a strategic partnership in 2013, cooperation has grown in all aspects. In particular, exchanges between friendship associations and sub-associations of the two countries are bricks providing a solid foundation. Two-way trade turnover reached only 1.4 billion USD in 2013 and then 6.2 billion USD in 2022. Vietnamese PM to attend second Belt and Road Forum in Beijing

Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc will attend the second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing, China from April 25 to 27. The trip will be made at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, Vietnam’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release on Monday. The Vietnamese premier will attend the forum’s opening on April 26 before joining President Xi and his spouse in a dinner on the evening of the same day. On April 27, PM Phuc is scheduled to speak at a roundtable summit attended by leaders of 36 other nations and China. The Vietnamese head of government is also expected to hold bilateral talks with top Chinese leaders during his China trip. British explorers discover 5 new caves in central Vietnam
