Quarter Dinh Thi Hao, Ha Thi Vui, Pham Thi Hue and Du Thi Bong finished third to earn a bronze in the women's coxless fours at the Fuyang Water Sports Centre, clocking 6min 52.35sec. The Vietnamese started in lane three and were in the leading group with China and Japan. They even went ahead to take lead in the middle of the race. However, China proved their power to finish first in a time of 6min 42.03sec. Japan passed Vietnam in the last metres for the second position at 6min 47.04sec. This is the first visit to Bulgaria by a chairperson of the Vietnamese NA in 15 years, since the trip by then NA Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong in 2008. A shrimp festival will be organized in Ca Mau Province, the southern tip of Vietnam, for the first time between December 13 and 16, featuring shrimp-eating and octopus-catching competitions. Such distinctive contests will promisingly please visitors during the fest. Other activities, including a shrimp-drawing contest, a fishery guessing game, and a program of making sea creatures with coconut leaves, will delight revelers. Tran Hieu Hung, director of the Ca Mau Province Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, said on Sunday that the event will also treat visitors to a seafood fest alongside seafood-based contests.
