(Photo: VNA) Washington D.C (VNA) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had a meeting with Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Samantha Power in Washington D.C on May 13 (local time), as part of his activities while on a working visit to the US. At the meeting, PM Chinh highly appreciated USAID's contributions to the recent development of Vietnam-US relations through effective aid activities, contributing to the settlement of post-war consequences, hunger eradication and poverty alleviation, and promotion of sustainable and inclusive development in Vietnam. (Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – Responding to climate change, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and adapting to climate change impacts are among priorities of the French Development Agency (AFD)’s cooperation priorities in Vietnam, AFD Executive Director Philippe Orliange has affirmed. Such cooperation priorities completely match commitments made by Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties ( COP26 ) in Glasgow, Scotland (the UK), last November, Orliange said in an interview with the press. The talks were co-chaired by Chief of the Vietnam Border Guard Command Lieutenant General Le Duc Thai and General Sao Sokha, the Deputy Commander of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces and Commander of the Royal Cambodian Army Gendarmerie.
