Ky Quan San Mountain is situated at an altitude of 3,046 metres above sea level. The mountain, known locally as Ky Quan San after the ethnic village located at its base, sits between the northwestern provinces of Lai Chau and Lao Cai. The ideal time for tourists to visit the area and hunt clouds is between November and February. Bach Moc Luong Tu initially opened to trekkers back in 2012. Although it lies some way off the beaten track, the peak represents both an inviting and thrilling target that inspires passionate trekkers. At a height of 2,000 metres, successfully trekkers can enjoy a breathtaking view of the surrounding scenery from Muoi Mountain.
