Movenpick optimistic about Vietnam’s tourism market Chinh Phong Movenpick Hotels & Resorts has announced to open at least 30 hotels and resorts in Asia by 2020, seven of them in Vietnam. This indicates the company’s interest in the tourism market of Vietnam. PANO - A workshop on Vietnam tourism promotion took place on May 30th, put on by the Vietnam Administration of Tourism, the Vietnam Tourism Association, and the managing board of the Environmentally and Socially Responsible Tourism Capacity Development Programme. The workshop discussed the summary report about tourism promotion activities from 2000 to now, and recommended solutions to popularise the tourism promotion strategy until 2020 in Vietnam. Besides, delegates shared experiences in improving the quality and effectiveness of tourism promotion activities, as well as put forward proposals to foster professionalism for tourism promotion activities to access target markets.
