Apart from Ha Nam province, where the work has been done, other localities in the regions like Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Phu Tho, Hai Duong, Hai Phong, Bac Ninh, Vinh Phuc, Hung Yen and Hanoi are also almost ready for the cultivation of the winter-spring rice crop. Nguyen Duc Hoang, an electrician in Hanoi, quit his job before the Tet holiday and has been doing a variety of part-time jobs since. He has been receiving unemployment insurance for three months. He went to the Hanoi Job Marketplace to find a more stable job with insurance and allowances. “Through the job marketplace, I was introduced to several jobs related to my profession, and I’m considering them,” said Hoang. According to Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi, the meeting had substantive discussions on key issues, focusing on evaluating the implementation of ASEAN's Five-Point Consensus (5PC) on Myanmar; regional and international issues; and the relations between ASEAN and partners. The annual Nguyên Tiêu Festival on the 15th of lunar January in Hội An has been recognised as a National Intangible Heritage by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Lanterns are used to decorate Hôi An every full moon. Pregnant woman dies after passenger boat overturns in Ho Chi Minh City
A pregnant woman was killed after a boat carrying 12 passengers capsized along a river in Ho Chi Minh City on Sunday morning. A passenger boat was traveling along a section of Dong Nai River between Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai Province at around 9:30 am when it hit a barge and overturned, according to preliminary information.
