It quoted local media as reporting on May 29 that the regulation about sea sand export is stipulated under the Government Regulation about Management of Marine Sedimentation Products, which states that sea sand can be used for domestic reclamation, infrastructure development for government businesses, infrastructure development by actors, and exports. The regulation was signed by Indonesian President Joko Widodo on May 15 and took effect immediately, replacing the previous regulation issued in 2003 that banned sea sand export s over concerns about illegal fishing. "Sam Tran took me to a local spot in Hanoi today to try a couple of Vietnamese classics," Albanese wrote on his official Twitter account, mentioning Sam Tran, a Vietnamese chef with multiple years of working experience in Australia. Albanese bought banh mi (Vietnamese baguette) at a local food stall before visiting a bia hoi (larger) shop on Duong Thanh Street in Hoan Kiem District. During his 40-minute lunch break, he enjoyed peanuts, roasted pork, fish cakes and tofu. Hanoi is conducting power cuts rotationally across the city amid the power shortages due to the prolonged hot weather, which has affected local residents. On Friday, many areas in Long Bien District faced power cuts. From 4 pm, hundreds of people went to Aeon Mall Long Bien to shop and avoid the heat. On the day, the city’s temperature reached up to 38 degrees centigrade. Ha made the request at a meeting with the national appraisal council for the draft national energy master plan in Hanoi on June 2. The Deputy PM said the plan should include some new viewpoints and specify important tasks in identifying the relationship and the mechanism for coordination among energy segments (coal, oil and gas, electricity, renewable energy, among others). Vietnam’s Vingroup to premiere homemade animated series on YouTube
VinTaTa, an in-house animation studio owned by Vietnamese conglomerate Vingroup, has announced that its first-ever original animated series, “Monta trong dai ngan ha ky cuc” (Monta in the Bizarre Galaxy), would be aired on YouTube from this weekend. The first four episodes of the series, running five minutes each, will be aired at 12:00 pm, 4:00 pm, 6:00 pm, and 8:00 pm on Sunday. Subsequent episodes will be broadcast on the video-sharing site every Thursday and Sunday, at 8:00 pm and 6:00 pm, respectively, VinTaTa said in a statement.
