Pham Thi Minh Phi, who won the Miss Philanthropy title in the Miss Vietnam Business 2022 contest held in Da Nang, was arrested by Lam Dong police on Wednesday to be investigated for obtaining property by fraud. In October 2022, a man in Da Lat of Lam Dong called Phi, requesting her cooperation to raise capital together and do business. Irish boy band Westlife thrilled Vietnamese audiences on Tuesday night by revealing their plan to come back to Vietnam for a live concert scheduled for November 22. The band wrote on their Facebook account that “Vietnam! We are so excited to be coming back with the Wild Dreams tour on 22nd November 2023.” Their live concert will take place at Thong Nhat Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City, according to their Facebook post. The recently released trailer for the science-fiction action thriller film directed by Gareth Edwards has taken Vietnamese fans by surprise with its thrilling scenes shot among Ha Long Bay's islets and blue waters. Edwards said the crew wanted to film rice paddies and terraces in Vietnam and limestone cliffs in the bay, Quang Ninh newspaper reported.
