Hanoi hosts Int’l Army Games’ “Emergency Area” contest (Source: qdnd.vn) Hanoi (VNA) – The “ Emergency Area ” competition in the framework of the ongoing 2022 International Army Games kicked off on August 15 at the National Military Training Centre No.4 in Hanoi. Hosted by the Vietnamese Ministry of Defence, the competition sees the participation of over 100 athletes from Belarus, Myanmar, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mali, Russia, and the host Vietnam. India attends the four-day event as an observer. This is the second time the Vietnamese Ministry of Defence has hosted the "Emergency Area" contest, showing the fruitful cooperation between the Vietnam People's Army and those of other countries. Da Lat to build dossier for becoming UNESCO creative city of music
The network, founded in 2004, aims to enhance cooperation among cities internationally recognised, with creativity considered a strategic factor of sustainable development. Its membership has reached 246 at present. In 2019, the capital city of Hanoi became a member of the network in the field of design. According to Ton Thien San, Chairman of the Da Lat People’s Committee, for the membership, the city has evaluated its current conditions, potential, strength and advantages in the seven sectors of craft-folk arts, media arts, cinema, design, gastronomy, culture, and music. High-ranking VPA delegation visits Tank and Army of Culture Contingents

(Photo: VNA) Moscow (VNA) – Crew No.1 of the Vietnamese tank team competed in the qualifying round in Group 1 of the “Tank biathlon” event in the framework of the Army Games 2022 in Russia on August 13. This year’s “ Tank biathlon ” event attracts the participation of 61 crews of 21 teams, divided into two groups. The first group consists of teams from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Venezuela, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Russia , Kyrgyzstan, China, Uzbekistan, and Mongolia, while the second group draws Abkhazia, Armenia, Zimbabwe, Iran, Laos, Mali, Myanmar, Syria, Sudan, Tajikistan, and South Ossetia. On August 13 at its headquarters, Bamboo Airways successfully held an extraordinary general shareholders' meeting with the additional election of Le Ba Nguyen, Nguyen Manh Quan, and Doan Huu Doan as members of the Board of Management (BOM) in place of resigned members. At the same time, the BOM approved electing Nguyen Ngoc Trong as chairman of Bamboo Airways’ BOM and Doan Huu Doan to assume the position of executive vice chairman of Bamboo Airways’ BOM and Le Ba Nguyen to assume the position of vice chairman for the 2019-2024 term. Trong has been one of Bamboo Airways’ leaders since its inception and the first deputy general director since 2018. He has held the position of vice chairman of Bamboo Airways since April.
