With the aim to help university students broaden their knowledge and career opportunities in IT auditing, PwC Vietnam Cybersecurity Ltd. in collaboration with REMANN Co., Ltd., the University of Economics-Law (UEL), and the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) have recently organised a scholarship programme focusing on the “Basic principles in IT audit for finance and credit organisations.” Students receiving certificates at the closing ceremony of the scholarship programme Sponsored by KOICA via their local partner REMANN Co., Ltd., the scholarship programme was kicked off in April 2018 and was open to all third-year students currently attending UEL and UEH—two of the top business schools in the southern region. Yeah1 Group JSC will start trading on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange next Tuesday, making history as the first Vietnamese media company to join the listed market. Yeah1 Group is the first digital media firm in Vietnam to list on the stock market The starting price for Yeah1’s shares will be VND250,000 ($10.96), putting the firm’s market valuation at VND273 billion ($11.97 million). The amount of free-floating shares is 600,000. Prior to this listing, Yeah1 has issued 7.82 million shares, or 25 per cent of its outstanding shares, in a private placement for institutional investors. Hackers stole more than US$30 million worth of cryptocurrencies from South Korea's top bitcoin exchange, sending the unit's price falling around the world on Wednesday (Jun 20). Nearly two weeks after officially purchasing the rights to broadcast the 2018 World Cup, VTV identified over 700 cases of copyright infringement, prompting FIFA to potentially stop broadcasting the next several matches. Accordingly, the most grieve violations include live streaming the football matches on Facebook and YouTube and sharing websites illegally broadcasting the matches. Over 200 people have reported finable infringements to VTV via its fanpage on Facebook.
