Authorities of the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong have approved a project to evacuate dozens of local households from the area which is usually hit by flash floods.
The households are located in Lien Ha Commune, Lam Ha District.

Under the project, around VND11.5 billion (USD489,361) will be used to build a resettlement area, including the construction of three roads running for almost four kilometres.
The majority of the investment capital is sourced from the state budget.
The project is scheduled to be finished this year.
Over the past time, these households have been hit by flash floods many times. This poses significant dangers and serious potential losses.
