The event was attended by Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Dang Minh Khoi along with representatives from the RANEPA, Vietnamese associations in Russia and local and international students in Russia.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador Khoi stressed that in his whole life, President Ho Chi Minh paid great attention to young people, who he said are the future of the country, and the major force for national construction and defense.
Khoi expressed his hope that Vietnamese youth in Russia will make greater efforts in contributing to homeland in the future.
On the occasion, 14 Ho Chi Minh CYU members who made outstanding contribution to the youth union work in 2022 were presented with certificates of merit from the Overseas Party Committee in Russia.
An exhibition was also held at the event introducing Vietnamese culture, people, and Vietnamese students and leaders who used to study at RANEPA previous, including Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
