Speaking at the ceremony, VUSTA Chairman D.Sc. Phan Xuan Dung held that the contest has drawn the participation of dozens of thousands of adolescents and teenagers with 9,253 topics since its first launch.
This year contest features 832 entries from contestants nationwide. The organizing panel selected 106 best works to award. The competition contributed to promoting desire and scientific creativeness among young generations across the nation, encouraging them to continue learning to become scientists and business people in the future, he said.
Every year, the VIFOTEC assists adolescents and teenagers who have outstanding initiatives and creative works to join international events for young creators in the U.S., Japan, the Republic of Korea, Thailand, and Malaysia.
At the ceremony, the organizing panel presented one special, 5 first, 10 second, 30 third, and 60 consolation prizes to outstanding works.
On the occasion, the organizing panel launched the 19th national creative contest for adolescents and teenagers. The contest will receive entries from November 27, 2022 to July 31, 2023.
