Miss Universe Vietnam plants trees in Thua Thien-Hue

Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 H’hen Nie attended tree planting efforts at Bach Ma National Park in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue.

The activity held today, November 30, is part of the Gaia Nature Conservation Centre's programme to protect upstream forests.

As many as 253 individuals and organisations have contributed 3,131 trees to activities at Bach Ma National Park. Around 3.5 hectares of land at Bach Ma National Park, was planted with trees such as iron wood and parasol. The added trees will be cared for and checked every year within the four first years.


Bach Ma National Park, one of the biggest and most important protected areas in Vietnam, boasts vast, untapped ecotourism potential.

The park covers nearly 37,500 hectares across nine communes and two towns in Thua Thien-Hue province's Phu Loc and Nam Dong districts, as well as Danang city's Hoa Vang district. It is home to varied fauna and flora.
