Exhibition highlights quintessence of Vietnamese Buddhism

On display at the exhibition were photos and artifacts featuring two parts. The first part introduced famous historical figures and monks who made great contribution to the construction of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and its outstanding achievements over the past time. The second highlighted documents, artifacts and symbols of Buddhist culture via various forms to popularize the spirit of Buddhism to Buddhist monks and nuns, followers and the public.

Earlier on the same day, Buddhist dignitaries and delegates participating in the congress laid flowers and offered incense in tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his Mausoleum.
