Coordination activities of army units and socio-political organizations reviewed

PANO – A conference to review the coordination between the Vietnam People's Army and political, social and humanitarian organizations was held under the chair of Lieutenant General Dao Duy Minh, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics, on February 26th.

Over the past time, these units have well implemented staff work, making contributions to the well implementation of the joint resolution.

The coordination helped promote solidarity and understanding between army units and socio-political organizations in consolidating localities' socio-political stability, assisting local people to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, recover from the consequences of natural disasters, as well as well conduct movements launched by the Party, State and Vietnam Fatherland Front.

This year, the units will further carry out staff work and organize activities to mark the 60th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory, the 70th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army and the 25th anniversary of the whole people's national defence festive day, and participate in the "Army joins hands for public health and social welfare" program.
