Channing Tatum snaps up charming midcentury farmhouse with enchanting stone walls and lush backyard for $5.6 million

Channing Tatum is the new owner of a charming $5.6 million midcentury farmhouse located in Mandeville Canyon, Los Angeles .

Built mostly of wood and stone around 1950, the exquisite 3,300 square foot property boasts a family room with fireplace, pool, lush backyard, and guesthouse, according to The Hollywood Reporter .

From the stone walls to the unvarnished wood floors and ceilings, the beautiful home is definitely a far cry from the more modern mansions often found in Hollywood.

The rustic chic family room boasts wooden walls, high-beam ceilings, and a majestic fireplace sitting beneath an expansive chandelier.

Equally as jaw-dropping is the picturesque kitchen and dining room.

The dining room is a shabby chic dream with stone walls, wooden high beams and ceiling, and crystal chandelier hanging over the table.

Not to be outdone is the equally stunning kitchen.

Channing can get his cooking done upon the long wooden counter located against the stone wall.

Even the bedrooms are just as picturesque as the rest of the house.

Decked out in rustic wooden panels, one of the bedrooms contained a skylight and direct access to the lush outdoors.

Perhaps one of the most attractive features of the house, however, was the gorgeous backyard.

An oasis from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles, the yard features a pool, basketball court, and stone-lined paths extending from one end of the yard to the other.

Though the property was not on the market when Channing snapped it up, rental listings indicate the actor ‘now lays claim’ to the home, according to THR.

In addition to this home, Channing still owns a $6 million estate near Beverly Hills with his ex-wife Jenna Dewan, which has been under renovation for several years.

Channing and Jenna finalized their divorce in 2019, ten years after tying the knot in Malibu in 2009.

The couple share daughter Everly, seven, together.

‘This has been a long time coming. They fell out of love,’ a source told Page Six at the time they announced their separation in 2018.

Channing was previously in a relationship with English singer Jessie J following their split, while Jenna Dewan welcomed a child with actor Steve Kazee following the separation. They are now engaged.

Though he may not have been on big screens lately, Channing recently landed at the top of the New York Times Bestseller list with his new children’s picture book, the One and Only Sparkella.
