Generali Vietnam provides gifts to needy students in Quang Tri Province.— Photo Generali Vietnam Generali Vietnam has launched the “Sat Canh Ben Mien Trung” (Standing Side By Side With Central Vietnam) emergency relief programme with a total fund of VND6.5 billion (US$281,000). The comprehensive disaster relief plan aims to provide immediate and sustainable support to thousands of disadvantaged families seriously impacted by the recent flooding in 35 districts of seven central provinces of Viet Nam including Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam and Quang Ngai. Funding for “Sat Canh Ben Mien Trung” comes from the “Gen Yeu Thuong” charity fund contributed by Generali Vietnam’s staff, agents and the company. “I am deeply touched by the compassion, kindness, and generosity of Generali Vietnam’s staff and agents. Such collective efforts and joint commitment have made our comprehensive relief programme possible to help our countrymen in Central Vietnam overcome difficulties and rebuild their lives,” said Ms Tina Nguyen, Generali Vietnam CEO.
