Things escalated quickly during Wednesday’s episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Danielle Staub, 57, and Margaret Josephs, 52, went neck and neck while out on a shopping trip when Danielle pulled Margaret by her ponytail and dragged her across the store.
Margaret was hardly innocent in the confrontation, after pouring a bottle of water all over the Instagram chef’s hair after a disagreement.
Uh oh! During Wednesday’s episode Danielle Staub and Margaret Josephs went neck and neck while out on a shopping trip when Danielle pulled Margaret by her pony tail and dragged her across the store
Not good: The argument started after Margaret poured water over Danielle’s head. This then created a violent action from Danielle
When the situation started to escalate, Jackie Goldschneider, 43, stepped in to tell Margaret that Danielle was ‘not worth it’ because ‘she’s a piece of sh*t,’ but that comment didn’t go over well.
‘I’m not worth it?! I’m a piece of shit?!’ the reality star screamed before throwing herself at Jackie and waving her finger in her face.
‘Don’t f**king touch me,’ Jackie said without missing a beat.
Can’t be stopped: After water was poured all over her, Danielle couldn’t be tamed and fought back
Her revenge: She grabbed her enemy’s clutch and threw her stuff around the store and into a burning candle
On a roll: Danielle is pictured above throwing Margaret’s things around
Things then got physical after Danielle fired at Margaret ’Oh, baby, and so have your f**king titties! You should get ’em done!’
That’s when the entrepreneur poured water all over her enemy’s head while in the establishment.
‘Did I hit a nerve?! Did I f**king hit a f**king nerve, you f**king c**t?!’ the soaking wet star shouted as she walked around and found Margaret’s clutch and shoving some of the items into a burning candle.
’Oh, my God! Are you kidding me?!’ Teresa Giudice, 47, chirped up as she stood there stunned with her friend Melissa Gorga, 40.
What started it: The reality star is pictured dumping water all over the star while in a retail store
Mortified: Their friends watched on and tried to stop the encounter but it was too later
As she walked over to collect her broken things, Danielle shouted ’We’re f**king even!’
‘Watch your back, b**ch!’ she added. ‘You started it? I’ll f**king finish it. Don’t you ever f**king come for me again, you f**king whore!’
At this point, Melissa was mortified over her friend’s actions and apologized to the retail employees and bystanders who were shopping in the store.
‘You’re embarrassed?’ Danielle asked as Melissa was trying to make things right.
‘Yes, I f**king am! This is nuts! Are you not?!’
Stunned! Melissa Gorga was stunned when she saw her friends acting like children and apologized to those around them
Breaking it up: Jackie Goldschneider and Jennifer Aydin tried to step in and stop the encounter but the women just couldn’t be stopped
Fighting back! Melissa tried to argue with Teresa Giudice as she just stood there and tried to hold in her laughter
‘Take your drowned rat self and go back in your hole and go,’ Margaret later said to Danielle who was giving a kiss to the store owner before heading out.
Before telling the star to ’go with your white f–king ponytail. You can’t even bleach it anymore your hair’s so f**king broken! I just can’t help myself anymore. I really can’t,’ she went ahead and grabbed her by the ponytail and dragged her across the store.
Now that the episode has aired, Josephs revealed that the encounter was ‘very painful’ for her to watch while Danielle said she has no regrets over what happened.
Corner 1 and 2: A sad Margaret grabbed her clutch and zipped it up as she continued to get yelled at before Danielle took a couple more digs
The big moment: Before she left, she had one more move left in her and grabbed Margaret’s ponytail from behind and dragged her across the store
But she could have died: Margaret later took to Twitter and explained she could have been paralyzed because of Danielle’s actions
‘I would love to know why Margaret feels she needs to pour things on me, throw things at me, yell at me, talk about my past as if she was a part of it, get involved with my marriage, get involved with my relationships,’ Staub said in defense to her actions while on the After Show on Bravo.
‘She’s affected my life in a very bad way, and all I did was help her fit into the group in the beginning. From where I’m standing, she owes me not only a big apology, but she should give me a lot of gratitude.’
She continued: ’So when it escalated to her pouring water over me, I really just didn’t expect it, but I should always expect the unexpected with Margaret. Thank God it was water because it might’ve hit a different trigger if it were anything else because I do believe I taught her, ‘Honey, you don’t wanna throw red wine on this ’cause you cannot afford it. Very expensive outfit, head to toe.’ And I have beautiful curly hair, so it didn’t bother me at all. Just made my hair look even better.’
Goodbyes: After her wild rampage, she said goodbye to her friend in the store
Horrified: Guests who were looking for a lowkey shopping experience got the exact opposite when walking into the store
‘I decided that if she was going to basically shit all over me again — last time was red wine — how far am I gonna let this go without a pushback? No more,’ she explained. ‘I was gonna take something that she really loved, and I wasn’t sure what I was gonna do with it. And so I decided that I would pour her bag into a candle, and it made me feel happy. I felt happy! Everyone was in shock, and I’m like, ‘Oh, that shocks you?”
‘All of them, collectively, really are just the most disgusting, vile people ever. I would never be around a group like that again. And you know what? They should be very careful. I do hold secrets of theirs of my own. For a long time I’ve held those secrets. You never know when it’s gonna blow. Just never know. Hell! It could happen today, I don’t know.’
‘I feel like she should’ve been taught that lesson a long time ago,’ she said. ‘She crosses every boundary of mine. Every line. Every line, every boundary. And you know how many people have asked me why I haven’t done anything to her sooner? And not just asked me, like been adamant about it, almost mad at me about it, that I haven’t… But it’s just not in me. But I guess you poke at somebody long enough… I was backed into a corner, and I was done. I’m done. I’m done with her.’
‘So no regrets?’ a producer asked her off camera. ‘Regrets?’ Danielle repeated. ‘Hell no. My only regret is not doing it sooner! She can stretch that neck all she wants to make it hide all those wrinkles, but I think she told me I have a really dark soul one time. I’m not sure if that’s racist or not, but I do know that it’s more about her than it is me.’
Her words: The entrepreneur later took to Twitter where she expressed her feelings in her own words about what went down
Attacked: She went on to say that she was attacked and while she may have instigated, she didn’t deserve what had happened to her
And finally: She went on to add that she could ‘not defend’ herself and it even had the production team in tears
And while Margaret didn’t get her shot at an on-camera interview, she did make sure her voice was heard by taking to her Twitter to speak about the incident.
‘I just want to check in & say while everyone is anticipating tonight’s episode it is very painful for me to relive,’ she wrote in the tweet. ‘The energy that day frightened me & to this day it still does. I have never hit anyone nor did I after being pushed or being assaulted from behind.’
‘What I did do after a half hour of a brutal back and forth with my personal space being invaded was to pour water on someone who was clearly looking to assault me and push me into a physical altercation,’ she went on. ‘I have been told I deserved it, I asked for it…. I was attacked [for] a full 12 minutes after the fact from behind. My neck was snapped back, easily could have been broken. I could not defend myself. I could have been paralyzed. Everyone was crying including production.’
‘It was horrific. I wanted to forget [and] move on,’ she ended. ‘To this day devastated.’
Going strong: During the incident, Danielle threw her things all over the center of the store
What just happened: The shopping trip was over after the incident as their friends were left stunned
Looking good: While she may have caused a massive scene in the store, she looked good while doing so
