Hang expressed her wish that the upcoming visit will promote trade investment and tourism development, share experiences in preserving cultural heritage, enhance cultural exchanges and people-to-people’s diplomacy.
As Hanoi boasts three world heritage sites recognized by the UNESCO, which are the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature), Giong Festival in districts of Soc Son and Gia Lam, Hang expected Chilean localities and Hanoi would help each other in the field of cultural heritage conservation in addition to investment, trade, tourism and other bilateral potential fields.
She hoped Ambassador Jaime Chomali Garib to keep bridging the two countries’ Communist Parties, as well as further promote the linkages between the two sides’ businesses in the fields of agriculture and food processing, cultural exchanges, tourism development, among others.
For his part, Ambassador Jaime Andress Chomali Garib expressed his impressions on the cultural and socio-economic achievements of Hanoi, the city for peace, and believed that Hanoi is increasingly asserting its position among cities in the world.
Welcoming the Hanoi delegation’s upcoming visit, the Chilean ambassador affirmed his willingness to support the event and believed that the trip would bring numerous cooperation opportunities between Hanoi and Santiago in particular, Vietnam and Chile in general.
