The Vietnamese Government always regards renewable energy as a priority field, Phuc told his guest while hoping that Kerry and partners will make greater contributions to Vietnam-US relations. Peterson showed his delight at the growing ties between the two countries, especially after the US’ removal of trade embargo against Vietnam. He said that it is a great honour for him to serve as stint as the first US Ambassador to Vietnam.
