PNJ, STF present scholarships to university students in Quy Nhon By Tuyet Lan Lam Trang Thuy Tien, retail director of PNJ’s Central Vietnam Branch, gives scholarships to students of Quy Nhon University – PHOTO: TUYET LAN HCMC – Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company (PNJ) and the Saigon Times Foundation (STF) under the Saigon Times Group presented 10 scholarships worth VND2 million each to students of Quy Nhon University last week. This was part of the 2018 STF-PNJ Scholarship Program during which PNJ and STF aim to donate 100 scholarships worth VND2 million each to students at universities nationwide, including the HCMC University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Quy Nhon University, Binh Duong University, and Can Tho University. Scholarship recipients should perform well in school but have poor family backgrounds. In addition to the scholarships, PNJ cooperated with Quy Nhon University to host the “Spread the golden trust” program to provide students with necessary skills like how to write a good resume for a job application and job interview tips, launch the “Thank you for not littering” program and organize the Startup Student Ideas contest. The STF-PNJ Scholarship Program was launched in 2012 and has since donated more than VND880 million in scholarships to 285 high school and university students in Quang Ngai and Quy Nhon provinces, Nha Trang City, and HCMC.
