During a working session with Egyptian officials from the Ministry of Antiquities, Hang spoke highly of the host country’s expertise and experience in managing heritages and antiquities. Briefing the host about Hanoi’s cultural and historical heritages, Hang said Hanoi wishes to cooperate with and learn from Egypt in the management and exhibition of antiquities. Egyptian Deputy Minister of Antiquities Ayman Said Abdelmohsen, for his part, said with nearly 100,000 archeological sites and a huge number of valuable antique items, Egypt has accumulated experience and expertise in discovering, protecting and excavating archeological sites as well as managing, classifying and displaying ancient artefacts. He said the Ministry of Antiquities is ready to partner with Hanoi in the field via projects on museum management, planning and management of relic sites in the near future.
