The two-day festival is jointly held by the Vietnam Association of Stage Artists (VASA) and the HCMC Department of Culture and Sports. VASA Chairman Le Tien Tho said the festival creates a playground for the participating artists to exchange experience, learn from each other and improve their performance quality in order to meet the increasing demand of audience. It is also a chance for art troupes to review the current situation and capacity of circus artists and seek solutions for human resource training and promote the development of circus art. According to the organizer, this year’s festival attracts a larger number of participating artists compared to the two previous festivals, proving that despite many difficulties, circus artists and magicians still nurture the love and passion for circus art and try the best to renovate their performances in order to attract larger crowds. The third National Magic Festival will wrap up today, with a closing and award ceremony held at the Saigon Opera House.
