Jointly organized by the South Korean Embassy in Vietnam, the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam and the authorities of Quang Nam Province and Hoi An City, the event will feature a series of activities that present the cultural identities of South Korea, including an exhibition on Korean culture, an introduction of beauty arts, performances of folk arts and Taekwondo, and a Hanbok (Korean traditional costume) show. Particularly, music band Coreyah and comedian group ONGALS from South Korea will take part in the event. Expertly melding ancient instruments with modern flair, the six-piece Korean band Coreyah crafts an exuberant new breed of music that breaks the barrier between the traditional and the contemporary. Meanwhile, ONGALS has performed in many countries around the world and was awarded a commendation signed by the South Korean Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Hoi An is a favorite destination for international visitors, especially Korean tourists. The Korean Cultural Days event is expected to lure more Korean tourists to the city.
