National Assembly (NA) Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and the Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus, Mikhail Myasnikovich (L). On behalf of the Belarusian National Assembly, Mikhail Myasnikovich sent his deepest condolences to the Vietnamese people, and the bereaved family of President Tran Dai Quang over his sudden passing. He also conveyed sincere condolences from the Belarusian President to the Party, State and people of Vietnam. On behalf of the Party, State and people of Vietnam, as well as the family of President Tran Dai Quang, NA Chairwoman Ngan extended heartfelt thanks to the leaders, the National Assembly and the people of Belarus for their sympathy for this huge loss, while describing this as great spiritual support for the State and people of Vietnam. The Belarusian Chairman extolled the sound relationship between the two countries not only at high-levels of the Party, State and National Assembly, but also at the grassroots level. Belarus is one of the five countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), which opens up a wealth of opportunity for stronger trade cooperation between the two countries, Myasnikovich said while underlined the need to promote economic and trade links with plenty of prospects for further development. Vietnam has exported to the Belarusian market such products as footwear, apparel, electronics and agricultural products, which are areas where Belarus desires to further promote in future.
