Maybank Kim Eng supports primary students in Long An The Saigon Times Daily Maybank Kim Eng volunteers and students of Ca Bang school pose with the lanterns made by themselves – PHOTO: COURTESY OF MAYBANK KIM ENG HCMC – Marking the Maybank Global CR Day, Maybank Kim Eng Securities Limited volunteers have visited children at Ca Bang branch of Thuan Nghia Hoa B Primary School in the remote district of Thanh Hoa in Long An Province and delivered many meaningful activities. Located near the Vietnam-Cambodia border, Thanh Hoa is a poor and underdeveloped region. Particularly, Ca Bang school sits on an isolated small islet that can only be reached by boat. Together with local people and teachers, the volunteer group helped repair classrooms and other facilities. They also donated nearly 500 books to the school. During the visit, Maybank Kim Eng volunteers and the students took part in numerous exciting activities like drawing, painting, making lanterns, and some other games. Each student also received a gift set containing notebooks, confectionery, and school stationery. “At Maybank Kim Eng we believe in sharing the fruits of our business with the communities to which we belong. The importance of giving back to society is something that we have subscribed to since our inception and has always been at the core of our identity,” said Maybank Kim Eng.
