A delegation of 25 European travel firms will conduct a fact-finding tour of Hanoi’s tourist attractions from early next month. The delegation from France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Austria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Norway, Poland, and Turkey will come to Hanoi on October 4-14. Foreign tourists in Hanoi This is part of a range of activities between tourism and airlines in order to strengthen co-operation and on-site tourism promotion through the development of inter-regional tourism products. It also offers an opportunity for Vietnamese tourism destinations and travel businesses to directly introduce their products to foreigners. The team will survey the tourist sites in Hanoi and surrounding areas, including the Temple of Literature, Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, the Old Quarter, Thang Long Royal Palace, Ho Chi Minh Historical Site at the Presidential Palace, Duong Lam Village, Van Phuc Silk Village, Huong Son landscape complex and Ha Long Bay in Quang Ninh Province from October 5. After that, they will then meet with tourism management agencies and businesses. They will work with the Hanoi Department of Tourism and Vietnam Airlines.
