Airlines in Vietnam have announced to reschedule many flights which are from and to localities forecasted to be affected by tropical Storm Bebinca. The storm has been weakened into a tropical depression, however, this has been still predicted to bring strong winds and heavy rains for many localities in the northern and northern central regions. To ensure the safety for passengers, budget airline Vietjet delayed some flights on the evening of June 16. National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines and budget airline Jetstar Pacific have planned to reschedule flights from Cat Bi International Airport, Vinh and Tho Xuan airports today. Vietnam Airlines has changed the time of two flights coded VN1262 and VND1263 on HCM City-Vinh route to this afternoon instead of the planned scheduled in the morning. Passengers on Vietnam Airlines’ rescheduled will be offered free ticket change. Meanwhile, Jetstar Pacific has rescheduled two flights on HCM City-Thanh Hoa route. Passengers are advised to check weather forecasts and airline advice regarding their flights.
