Devon Nguyen will be the first Vietnamese fashion designer to participate in the Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2018 to be taken place from February 28-March 8.
Devon Nguyen is chosen to represent Vietnam at the fashion week for her creativity and skillful technique of attaching stones and sequins to clothes.
The designers and her employees have spent 100-300 hours to create every design that will be performed in the upcoming international fashion week.
Devon Nguyen who owns the brand name “Devon London” studied at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London, the UK. She had a chance to work at Burberry, a British luxury fashion house and presented her collection at a charitable program held by Mayfair Charities Limited in 2012.

One of Vietnamese leading designers, Nguyen Cong Tri has been invited to participate in the Tokyo Fashion Week Fall/ Winter 2017 that will take place in Japan on March 21. Tri will present his collection “Haute Couture No:10” at the event. He was also the first Vietnamese designer who took part in the Tokyo Fashion Week last year with his Haute Couture collection called Lua (Paddy). Vietnamese Dutch designer to open VIFW Spring Summer Kieu Giang Xuan-Thu Nguyen, a Dutch-Vietnamese designer and owner of design house Xuan in French capital Paris, will open the Vietnam International Fashion Week Spring Summer 2017 in HCMC from April 25 to 28. To prepare for the spring-summer fashion season 2012, the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (Vinatas) coordinated with the Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex) to organize spring-summer fashion week 2012. Two young fashion designers, Thien Toan and Anh Vu, will represent the country as they participate in three international fashion shows: one in Germany's Berlin and two in Singapore. Thien Toan will compete with his counterparts coming from China, the Republic of Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and Thailand in the final round of the Asia Pacific Week Berlin 2007 taking place at Kosmos center from September 21 to 23.
