Devon Nguyen will be the first Vietnamese fashion designer to participate in the Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2018 to be taken place from February 28-March 8.
The designers and her employees have spent 100-300 hours to create every design that will be performed in the upcoming international fashion week.
Devon Nguyen who owns the brand name “Devon London” studied at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London, the UK. She had a chance to work at Burberry, a British luxury fashion house and presented her collection at a charitable program held by Mayfair Charities Limited in 2012.

The State Bank of Vietnam said Monday that the total trading value of dong on the inter-bank market in the week ended Mar 18 fell 14.08% from the previous week to VND72.73 trillion while that of U.S. dollar was up 2.4% to US$1.567 billion. The total overnight trading value was nearly VND26.884 trillion, accounting for 37% of the total trading turnover in the Vietnamese dong, while that of U.S. dollars was US$492 million, or 31% of the total turnover in the greenback. Vietnamese shares may continue declining this week, as investors display more caution after the markets declined over the last four days and as investors await news from the US central bank’s meeting on possible interest rate increases. About 6.5 million Vietnamese tourists traveled abroad last year, an increase of 15 percent from 2015, according to the national tourism association. The estimate was based on official statistics from the most preferred destinations of Vietnamese tourists, including Thailand, Singapore, China, South Korea and Japan. “There are no government agencies compiling data on the number of Vietnamese traveling overseas," Vu The Binh, vice chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Association, said.
