Muong culture artworks on display By Thoa Nguyen in Hanoi A contemporary art exhibition Dat Muong, or the land of Muong ethnic minority people, will be held on Friday at Muong Cultural Space Museum in the northern province of Hoa Binh. The event, which is among the activities of the traditional cultural festival of Muong ethnic minority people, displays creations of 14 sculptors, 12 painters and students and instructors of Vietnam University of Fine Arts. The artists will use natural materials like soil, bamboo, wood and stone to create the artworks. Vu Duc Hieu, director of Muong Cultural Space Museum, said tourists have a chance to learn more about the traditional values of Muong people through these works which will be on display for a year.
