Ministry supports firms explore Laotian, Thai markets By Tran Thu – The Saigon Times Daily HCMC – The Ministry of Industry and Trade will give partial financial support to local enterprises attending trade fairs in Laos and Thailand in late March and early April to explore these two markets. Specifically, under the trade promotion program for this year, the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency will organize a Viet-Laos trade fair in Champassak Province’s Pakse City from April 8-12. There will be 140 booths of Vietnamese firms and 70 for Laotian ones with a wide variety of products on display. Vietnamese firms will receive full financial support in setting up and decorating booths as well as marketing products. Besides, the ministry will partially support enterprises joining the annual trade fairs Health Food & Ingredient 2012 and Biobeauty & Biofit scheduled for March 29 to April 1 in Thailand’s Bangkok. Enterprises will have 45% of the booth, five-night stay at a three-star hotel, and transport cost from the hotel to fairs funded by the ministry. However, the registration is required by Thursday.
