JW Marriott Hotel unveiled in capital The Saigon Times Daily Marriott International last week opened the JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi in the capital city. This is the second hotel to be managed by Marriott International in Vietnam after the Renaissance Riverside in HCMC. Acclaimed architecture practice Carlos Zapata Studio designed the building with inspirations from traditional dragon folklore and the magnificent coastline of Vietnam. The new hotel which covers 3,600 square meters with 17 meeting rooms, six restaurants and bar outlets is located in Hanoi’s new central business district and adjacent to the National Convention Center. Marriott International has more than 3,700 properties in 74 countries worldwide. Well-known brands under the group’s umbrella include Bulgari, Ritz Carlton, Renaissance and Marriott. JW Marriott Hanoi is an iconic landmark developed by Bitexco Group following the success of the Bitexco Financial Tower skyscraper in HCMC. Established in 1985, Bitexco engages in diverse fields including property, road and hydropower plant development, and financial investment.
