This year roughly 3,000 people are expected to join in the Dance for Kindness, said Duan, noting that Miss Vietnam 2016 Do My Linh and first runner up Ngo Thanh Tu have already signed up.
The purpose of Dance for Kindness is to look beyond ourselves – beyond the boundaries of our country, beyond our culture, our race, our religion and realize that we are citizens of the world and kindness is the common thread that unites us all.
This year marks the 5th Annual WorldWide Dance for Kindness, sponsored globally by Life Vest Inside, a non-profit organization, with participation from more than 100 cities spanning 50 countries worldwide.

The Hanoitimes - TechFest Vietnam 2016, a startup festival, that closed in Hanoi on November 13 draw nearly 170 investors and over 3,000 visitors, according to the organising board. Hanoi has a rich repertoire of unique ancient dances, but it only began gaining attention from the broad public during its 1,000th anniversary in 2010. A traditional dance named "Con di danh bong". This was thanks to efforts made by local researchers and scholars in collecting and staging the dances in the project “restoring and developing Thang Long – Ha Noi dances”.
