State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC) last Friday announced the selection of the consortium to give advice on the sale of the State shares at the country’s leading dairy processing firm. The consortium is led by Morgan Stanley. As per a contract signed on October 5, the consortium will provide consulting on the share sale plan, reserve price, search for foreign and domestic investors and related procedures. The consortium, a mix of prestigious domestic and international financial organizations, will help make the stake sale transparent and effective, said a SCIC official. Earlier, Minister of Finance Dinh Tien Dung told the media that SCIC is working on a plan to orderly withdraw capital from large companies. SCIC has informed the ministry and the Government of a roadmap for State capital divestment at 10 giants.
