CMG to open more fitness and yoga centers Kieu Giang By Kieu Giang – The Saigon Times Daily California Management Group (CMG) has unveiled plans to put into service six more fitness and yoga centers by the end of 2015. The six new facilities under construction will bring the total number of California Fitness and Yoga Centers (CFYC) put into use in the next six months to 20 in six cities across Vietnam. According to CFYC president Dane R. Fort, CFYC is now one of the fastest growing companies in Asia with more than 15,000 clients. CYFC was launched in Vietnam in 2007 to provide fitness services combined with popular entertainment trends. Mizuho Asia Partners invested US$15 million in a 10% stake of CFYC in January 2014. From this financial partnership, CMG was formed to create a new financial and operational management platform allowing the group to expand into multiple sectors. CMG has expanded its holdings to include a retail distribution platform CA Active; a sports apparel fashion line CA Republik; a new media and entertainment division California Media Group, which oversees operations of a multimedia company California Studios; Celebrity Development Academy & Publicist Company CA3 and most recently Eri International; Vietnam’s first Japanese Anti-Aging Beauty Clinic with popular singer Ho Ngoc Ha as its managing partner. Randy Dobson, chairman and CEO of CMG, said the group is working towards its 2020 vision of 400 locations operating in multiple health and lifestyle sectors.
