Victoria’s Secret angel Sessilee Lopez arrived in Ho Chi Minh City on Friday, ready to be on the catwalk at an international fashion show kicking off today, April 23. The 27-year-old American model said on Twitter she got “a warm welcome” upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, which she described asbeing “so colourful and vibrant and the weather is just what I needed.” Lopez will grace the opening night of the Vietnam International Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2016 as a special guest of the show called Harper’s Bazaar by Cory Couture, according to the event producer, Multimedia JSC. Born in 1989, Sessilee Lopez starred in campaigns of Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana, Jean Paul Gaultier, Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Jacobs, Lanvin, Shiatzy Chen, and appeared in covers of renowned fashion magazines Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, W, Allure, and more. Along with supermodels Naomi Campbell, Liya Kebede and Jourdan Dunn, Sessilee Lopez graced on the all-black issue of Vogue Italy July, 2008. Lopez worked as a model of lingerie brand Victoria’s Secret in 2008 and 2009. Sessilee Lopez is currently among the world’s highest-paid black models. She is also the muse of photographer Steven Meisel for years.
