(VOVworld) – South Korean Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi agreed on Monday on close coordination to fully implement new UN sanctions against North Korea, according to the South Korean Foreign Ministry. During a phone conversation, Yun stressed the importance of strictly implementing the sanctions in the current situation where North Korea continues to make provocative threats. They also agreed to find ways to resume talks with North Korea. Wang also talked with Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida on the same day. The two diplomats promised strong cooperation in carrying out any sanctions against North Korea.
