From December 10th, Vietnam Airlines will use 184-seat A321 aircraft for the Ha Noi-Chu Lai route, instead of the current 68-seat ATR72 aircraft, with four scheduled flights per week on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
The departure time from Ha Noi has been brought forward by one hour and will now depart at 13h00 and with the return from Chu Lai now scheduled for 15h20. As a result of improving the overall capacity offered by the aircraft the flight time has been reduced by 25 minutes to just one hour and thirty minutes with 116 more seats available for passengers.
Jetstar Pacific, currently operate flights on the Ho Chi Minh city and Chu Lai route and with the additional connection offered between the northern and southern regions by the national carrier there are foreseeable benefits for business growth, cultural exchange and tourism.
Vietnam Airlines is offering heavily discounted ticket prices in promotion of the inauguration of the new route with a one-way ticket priced at VND399,000 for economy class applicable for flights until December 30th, 2015 and at VND1,650,000 for business class applicable for flights from December 10th, 2015 to January 31st, 2016.
These tickets do not include taxes and surcharges.
