The Embassy of the Republic of Venezuela in Vietnam in cooperation with Tuyen Quang provincial People’s Committee on November 25th opened an exhibition on Venezuelan handicrafts in the province.
The exhibition is a part of a schedule of activities during the working visit to Tuyen Quang province by the Venezuelan Ambassador.
Nearly 100 outstanding handicraft items from the South American nation such as bags, hats, vases, baskets, wallets, footwear, cradles and jewelry made from various materials by Venezuelan cooperatives and artisans were on display.
The exhibition created an opportunity for the people in Tuyen Quang to learn something of the country and culture of Venezuela and potentially develop new prospects of future cooperation between the two nations.
Addressing the ceremony, Venezuelan Ambassador to Vietnam, Rondon Uzcategui thanked the leaders and people of Tuyen Quang province for their cooperation in organizing the event.
He was also delighted at the outcomes of cooperation betweenthe two countries, particularly the signing and implementation of agreements and projects in energy, oil and gas, agriculture, aquaculture, industry, science-technology, education-training and telecommunications.
The exhibition is scheduled to run until November 28th./.
