PANO – These days, the atmosphere of the National Day has been prevailing in the streets of the capital city of Hanoi. It is easy to catch a number of Hanoians and tourists gathering in revolutionary historical relic sites closely attached to the eventful moments of the country 70 years ago, or walking in key streets to enjoy the autumn days recalling the August Revolution and welcoming the National Day (September 2). Jubilation for the National Day Hanoi, on these autumn days, is wearing new coat. Streets across the capital city are colourful with millions of flowers and thousands of banners greeting 70 years of the August Revolution (August 19th) and the National Day. Hanoians, whether living in small alleys or in big streets, are happy to welcome the National Day and the flying flags hoisted in front of their houses make Hanoi more lively and jubilant. Like many revolutionary historical relic sites in Hanoi, the house at 48 Hang Ngang street, where Uncle Ho wrote the Declaration of Independence, has drawn a number of domestic and international tourists.
