PANO – A delegation of the Military Zone 5 (MZ 5) High Command, led by its Commander Major General Nguyen Long Cang, on April 29th laid wreath and offered incense to pay homage to President Ho Chi Minh and late generals of the Vietnam People’s Army at Ho Chi Minh Museum’s branch in the zone, and to martyrs at the zone’s cemetery.
This annual event is part of its activities to pay gratitude to the late President and generals as well as heroic martyrs who have made contributions to the national liberation cause and the country’s development.
The unit’s troops promised to continue expanding the “Learning and following President Ho Chi Minh moral example” and “Promoting traditions, contributing talents, deserving to be Uncle Ho’s soldiers” movements in the new phase of the revolution. In addition, they would collaborate with the local authorities and agencies to maintain combat readiness, contributing to building a whole people defence posture as well as a strong defensive area.
On this occasion, they inquired after and offered gifts to generals who are living in Da Nang City.
